Although the huge cup went to someone else the Startup World Cup 2019 in San Francisco was a fantastic and successful event on many levels for Grapevine.

Already being in the list of the world’s top 40 startups out of 12,000 (!) candidates is a great honor and acknowledgment of our long-time efforts in connecting healthcare.

We got to know the other top startups from all over the world and from different business areas. The event was a great chance to exchange our experiences and ideas and to discuss future cooperations. Wow, we really found a lot of new friends. Paul Witkay (Founder & CEO of Alliance of Chief Executives) was a great connector with a superb team.

On different networking events with drinks and Sushi we got in contact with many top tier VCs and with an exclusive delegation from Japan.

We enjoyed the big stage that has offered us the possibility to present our business to a big audience and to the jury which gave us great and constructive feedback. The iconic SF Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco was the perfect place for such a disruptive and vivid event. Top speakers like Tim Westergren (Founder and Former CEO of Pandora), Ray Lane (Former President & COO of Oracle), Neil Hunt (Former CPO of Netflix), Terry Jones (Founding Chairman Kayak.com) gave us invaluable insights and recommendations.

We congratulate the Startup World Cup winner 2019 Abivin from Vietnam who is leveraging AI to drive its logistics optimization platform.

We are looking forward to the promising upcoming meetings the Startup World Cup 2019 made possible. There is much more to come.
